Santa Visit!

Christmas never officially begins until you have a visit with Santa! Grayson was all about it this year. He loves him some Santa!

Getting a little nervous that it was his turn!

But he walked straight up. He was ready!!

I was so proud of him... He told Santa exactly what he wanted, "Pirate toys and a Pluto". He couldn't believe Santa new who Jake the pirate was. It just made him even cooler!! hehe ;)

He loves Santa to say the least!! :)

Gus the Elf

This year Grayson must have been a very good boy... Santa sent an elf named Gus all the way from the North Pole. Grayson named him all by himself and he quickly became a best friend at our house. I'm not sure who had more fun, Grayson or Mom and Dad. Hehe :-)

Causing trouble with Batman!

Grayson wasn't so sure about Gus getting into his candy corn. He told him "No! Don't eat those candy corn they are mine!" Haha! Glad we got these funny moments on video! :-)

A little ice skating on the "ice day" if only we had snowballs at our house too!

Fishing trip with his buddy Woody!

Grayson caught one;)

He was ready to make Grayson's favorite breakfast... cinnamon rolls!!

He was pumped about the honeybun Gus brought too!!

Hanging from the ceiling with Santa (cute idea Daddy! Wait... I mean Gus:)

Making smores with Santa! Yum Yum!

Notice the marshmallows missing... Grayson thought they were yummy too!!

The goodbye note from Gus. It was a sad day when he had to go back to the north pole.

Grayson followed the 'do not touch him or he will lose his magic' rule very seriously. So on Gus's last day he gave him permission to hold him. Gray wasn't so sure about it at first, but when he finally decided to touch him he laid him down on the couch and said "Do not touch my movies Gus!!" Haha! there was one day when Gus got into his DVDS and it was a total meltdown.  I love how he still remembered that day, ha:-)

Once he got his hands on him he wouldn't let him go! Until next year Gus.. We love ya!

*ICE Day!*

Of course Memphis freaks out when there is any forecast for frozen precipitation... they called this Ice Storm 2013, however I believe we only had a few branches with icicles, haha! But hey it was an excuse for Grayson & I to act like all of the other crazies and have a full blown "ice day"!

We made a car out of a box... it's amazing how a box can entertain for hours! It even had its very own steering wheel, hehe!

We also made ornaments for all of the grandparents and aunts!

And pinterest never fails with random ways to keep a toddler entertained!

He had a blast!

And a little Christmas decor to end the day! I love these special times with my buddy:)

Getting Christmas Ready!

A little Christmas tree pickin'...

The ONE!

Helping hang ornaments!

The tree wouldn't be complete with out our best bud Woody!

Our little elf:)

He couldn't wait to put the star "on top". This was talked about for weeks & weeks before!!

Hehe! He was so proud!

The finished product:)

Baby Jesus breakfast!

One of my faves! Peppermint bark!

All wrapped up for friends and  teachers!

We ended up having a successful Christmas card, but it sure took some funny ones to get there! These two were keepers...

These not so much, haha...
