Baby & Big Boy Ready!!

First things first, I have to thank my sweet, selfless Momma for all the hard work she put in on the below. Seriously 7 months pregnant I could not have done all of this by myself! Thanks Nonna! Grayson & Beckham thank you too!!! :)

Grayson's big boy room is complete! He loves it!!

I got to use my Bibbie's dresser... so glad it is being passed down to my boy!

I got this idea off of Etsy, but decided to DIY... so glad I did! Much cheaper and personalized just the way I wanted it. Couldn't have done it without my sis and her amazing skills!

He has done so good transitioning from the crib to the big boy bed. I was worried at first because he wanted nothing to do with the idea of change, but he pulled through and loves it, sleeps longer and moves all over the bed throughout the night! Glad we went for it and thankful it was a success!!

This is his little playroom that is connected to his room. He doesn't have it so bad;)

Baby Beckham's room!!

I love the way it turned out! We used a lot of stuff from Grayson's nursery, but went with a total different color scheme to make it his own!

Melts my heart to actually see his initials... I guess it's just now all hitting me!

Can't wait till that angel baby is lying in there! This pregnancy has flown so fast it really feels surreal I am having a baby in 5 weeks!

Somebody found that their new stool is helpful to get into some shenanigans! hehe!

Graysonisms!

Grayson has been quite the character lately. He never ceases to amaze me with what comes out of his mouth! He is definitely entering an age where I believe we will have our hands full, but he will definitely keep us laughing! Here are a few "Graysonisms" that had to go down in the books!!! (& a few videos off this little ham! ;)}

~If he does something nice for me I'll say "Thank you, Grayson!" His response is "Just doing my job!"
~If I do something nice for him he'll say "Thank you for my blessings Mom!" hehe! So cute:) I guess he's heard that a time or two when we pray!
~ And thanks to Daddy!... He often says "Just looking out for #1!" Haha! He does make everything all better when we ask him who's #1 & he says God!! ;)
~Sometimes he'll end conversations with "Just forget it!" Mr. attitude!
~He has started calling me woman!! I don't know where in the world he got it?! But we've put an end to it real quick!
~He will also say, "Mom, you're a beast!" Supposedly it's a good thing to be a beast, haha! It's quite funny!
~ And the boy doesn't miss a beat... if he hears "Shut up" or "Stupid" from a mile away he will call you out and say "We don't say that!!" We always agree and tell him he can spank our hand, but he never wants to hurt anyone!

*He does have a big heart ;) hehe!...

He is keeping us on our toes and I feel like as the days go by I am more and more amazed by him and his never ending vocabulary!! I sure love him and his funny personality!

Zoo Day with Nonna!

We have had the best summer weather! It has been so nice outside and I've been so thankful it has not been your typical Memphis summer! (Especially since I am with child!)

This day was like a spring day, so we decided to go to the Zoo! The rest of Memphis had the same idea too, but it sure was fun!

He loves to pet the hippo as soon as we get there! Of course he always tells me, "It's just pretend, Mom!" ;)

We had 2 1/2 weeks from when Nonna got back from Miami until she started school so we had to cram a lot of fun in!!

He found this little girl every time we stopped at an animal and just fell in love with her. Every time she walked off he would chase her, haha!

Happy 4th of July!!

We were scheduled to bring snack to Grayson's class on the week of the 4th of July, so we got a little festive!

We went over to Angela & Stephen's for some G-town fireworks! I cannot get over how crowded it was! Grayson was really excited about the Pop-Its! We got in the spirit and did some before we left the house.

The party don't stop there... back to the Bailey's on Saturday for some more fun! Making cupcakes!!

They turned out pretty cute & were all eaten by the end of the day, ha! I think the kids had 3 a piece... they just kept sneaking them!!

The night we did these Daddy was at work so he saved 2 boxes the entire weekend "to do with Daddy!" It was so sweet. He didn't want Daddy missing out on the fun... he sure loves him!! He has asked to do these multiple time since... I told him we have to wait until the next 4th of July! Such a fun weekend! The 4th is one of my favorite holidays for sure!!

I was so nervous because he wanted nothing to do with the idea of it and had a major meltdown when we took his crib down. But once it was up and he saw how cool it was we were smooth sailing! Thank goodness!!
